La Telva was the old owner of the house. She sold fish across the village from a basket that she carried on her head. On the road across the village, across the fishmonger’s ‘La Chucha’ stands a statue of a woman that could well be "La Telva".
It is said that in the old times, each fisherman painted the windows in the same colour as its boat, so they could see it when they were near the docks at dawn.
